BEVERLY OLEVIN
Writer and Director
Beverly has recently had World Premieres of three of her plays
produced in Los Angeles.
The Green Room was presented at
Theatre Forty and
Soundings was Los Angeles Times’ critic’s pick
at the Odyssey Theater. Beverly most recently directed Theatre
Forty's production of
Table Manners (from The Norman Conquests),
Enigma Variations
and the critically-acclaimed production of The
Lion in Winter.
She also directed the long-running hit The Manor at
Greystone Mansion, now in its fifth year.
Beverly’s novel, "The Breath of Juno" was published in 1996. Twenty of her short stories have been
published nationwide in literary journals, including
The Gypsy Moon, featured in Ms. Magazine. She
teaches an ongoing course titled "The Play's the Thing" at UCLA Extension's. Beverly has been named
the first Artist-in-Residence for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute for 2007-2008.

Her management publications, distributed by Career Systems International, have been used around the
world for twenty years, and her
Creative Style Profile has been released by Wiley this spring. Her
articles on mentoring, creativity and innovation have appeared in many publications including the Los
Angeles Times and Personnel Journal. She has designed and managed large-scale career development
programs in both the public and private sector. With Beverly Kaye, she has invented training
instruments, games and tools of self-discovery. Beverly spent twenty-five years as a management
consultant with specialties in career development, diversity training, management training, human
resources planning and creativity. She developed, wrote, and presented skill-based programs to improve
organizational productivity and individual effectiveness.

Her background includes her work as an Associate Director
with the California State Universities and as an Academic Director
in Oxford, England. She has an undergraduate degree from UCLA
and a Master of Fine Arts from Trinity University.
